Over the last two years, the Community Foundation has dedicated a substantial investment, exceeding $2 million, towards transforming our local food system through utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This initiative has made a significant impact across our region by supporting 32 local farms and 19 organizations engaged in providing food assistance, and it has contributed to the establishment of Growing Places’ regional food processing center.

Recognizing the importance of acknowledging and celebrating these achievements, CFNCM recently organized an evening of celebration at Sterling Street Brewery in Clinton on January 23rd.
