The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts (CFNCM) is now accepting online grant applications for its Career Readiness and Educational Access Grant Program.

“This grant program is focused on preparing local residents for family-supporting jobs through career skills development and education,” said Stephen Adams, president of the Community Foundation. “We encourage organizations that provide career-related training, post-secondary education and other educational initiatives in North Central Massachusetts to apply.”

The CFNCM is accepting online grant applications through Friday, May 20, 2022, and award decisions will be finalized on July 5.

Examples of projects that would be considered for Career Readiness and Educational Access grants include those involving:

  • Scholarship programs for higher education
  • On-the-job training
  • Career advancement training
  • Early childhood education
  • Adult and child literacy

Applications must describe what the grant funds will be used for, why the cause matters to North Central Massachusetts, how outcomes will be measured and other details about the project.
