The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts (CFNCM) is now accepting grant applications for the Nashoba Valley Healthcare Fund Grant Program. The purpose of the fund is to advance the community health of residents in 11 communities: Ashby, Ayer, Bolton, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley and Townsend.
“The pandemic created and exacerbated many health issues that members of our communities face,” said Stephen Adams, CFNCM president. “We are gratified to have this grant program to help bolster the health of local residents.”
Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, April 15, 2022, and award decisions will be finalized by May 27. Grant awards typically range from $5,000 to $20,000; however, larger-scale collaborative projects with requests exceeding $20,000 are considered if the funding request is justified by the impact of the project. This year $107,288 is available to distribute.
Priority will be given to, but not limited to, proposals pertaining to:
• Access to healthcare services
• Behavioral health
• Elder health
• Prevention of health problems
• Youth and adolescent health
