Women's Suffrage Centennial

2020 marks the 100-year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution extending voting rights to women. It happened in 1920, after 72 years of organizing, educating and agitating. While it was the nation’s most consequential social/political revolution, very few of us ever learn much about it.
In light of this milestone, the Community Foundation is dedicated to building stronger relationships between the agencies actively celebrating Women's Suffrage this year. Below is a list of events throughout the year that celebrates the Centennial, either hosted by our fundholders or the Foundation.
