Mack to Direct Gift Planning for the Community Foundation

Fitchburg, Mass. (April 8, 2013) – Linda Mack of Townsend has joined the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts as director of gift planning.

"Linda brings a wealth of experience to the position, which we know will prove beneficial to all our fundholders," said Phil Grzewinski, president of the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts.

Mack most recently was CEO of her own business, Heron Grace Non Profit Solutions, based in Townsend. The organization specialized in providing constituent relationship management (CRM) capabilities, which allowed smaller nonprofits to improve their fundraising capabilities. Prior to that, she served as executive director for the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions and for 15 years as director of development and alumni relations at High Mowing School, a private boarding/day high school in Wilton, N.H.

Mack has her certification as a fundraising executive through Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Mack is also the president of the board of directors for the Massachusetts Watershed Coalition in Leominster and has served on Townsend’s Planning Board and Conservation Commission. A native of Reading, she has lived in Townsend for 29 years on a small farm, and has two adult sons and two grandchildren.
